This is a current limitation of Maven and how we're doing the build 
system. The first thing you should do with the build, from the geronimo 
directory, is

	maven build

then if you want to do a clean build

	maven rebuild

or (after you've ran maven build before) you can then clean everything 
down via

	maven clean

After you've cleaned you must do 'maven build' next.
Basically the build installs the geronimo-*-DEV.jar files in your local 
repository - unfortunately Maven checks the dependency list for the 
clean goal (hence your problem).

One way to fix this is for us to deploy the current -DEV.jar files into 
the maven repository. It'd be nice to turn off dependency checking for 
the clean goal somehow which would totally fix the issue.
