Subject [jira] [Created] (GEODE-7368) EntryNotFoundExceptions are thrown when sessions are evicted during unload
Date Mon, 28 Oct 2019 18:02:00 GMT
Benjamin P Ross created GEODE-7368:
--------------------------------------

Summary: EntryNotFoundExceptions are thrown when sessions are evicted during
unload
                 Key: GEODE-7368
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-7368
             Project: Geode
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: http session
            Reporter: Benjamin P Ross

During the unload process (DeltaSessionManager) we write our current sessions to disk and
delete them from our session region. It's possible for a session to be evicted while this
process is ongoing which results in an EntryNotFound exception which interrupts the process
of clearing out the region.

We can fix this by catching the exception and ignoring it - there is no circumstance where
we want to change behavior if an entry is evicted right as we go to delete it in this process.
