Subject [jira] [Created] (GEODE-3859) Simplify API for reading output from a GfshScript
Date Tue, 17 Oct 2017 21:26:00 GMT
Jared Stewart created GEODE-3859:
------------------------------------

Summary: Simplify API for reading output from a GfshScript
                 Key: GEODE-3859
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-3859
             Project: Geode
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Jared Stewart

The current API for reading output from a GfshScript (or more precisely from a GfshExecution)
is a bit clunky in its separation of stdOut lines/text from stdErr lines/text. There is no
way to see all of the output in order (across both stdOut and stdErr). Most users of GfshRule
won't care about this separation, the just want to see that the right output occurred.
