Subject [jira] [Commented] (GEODE-131) Implement Apache Ambari installer plugin for Geode
Date Mon, 20 Jul 2015 13:29:04 GMT

Christian Tzolov commented on GEODE-131:

I've reused Seve's work and assembled a working prototype:
(make sure you have selected the 'geode' branch).

OOB it produces a tarball, HDP2.2. and PHD3.0 RPMs. Follow the readme instructions to install
it and deploy a Geode cluster.
You can deploy Geode form tar.gz installation tarball. I've successfully tested it with Geode
tarball build from the trunk.

Feedback is welcome. Note that the code is not committed to the GEODE-131 feature branch because
it is been discussed (#GEODE-145) where to host this work.
