Subject RE: Locating org.apache.cocoon.components.CocoonComponentManager
Date Sun, 12 Dec 2004 02:44:51 GMT
 Upayavira,
     Thanks. Yes, I am using fins with cocoon 2.1.6 so that could make the
difference.

     Does forrest 0.6 also use cocoon 2.2?

     Basically, Fins wrapper is using CocoonComponentManager to the get the
evironment and set the background image as shown in the snippet below:

=======================
SourceResolver resolver = CocoonComponentManager.getCurrentEnvironment();

InputStream is = resolver.resolveURI(backgroundImage,
null,null).getInputStream();
=======================
     Any hints as to what should I being doing in forrest to do the
equivalent?

regards
Praveen

Does your Fins block with in 2.1.X Cocoon, or in the 2.2 from
Subversion? Forrest uses 2.2, which has been adapted to have its own
implemenation of Excalibur Component Manager. The addition of this could

well be the cause of your problem.
