Subject [HEADS UP] restructure of SVN trunk - take 2
Date Tue, 02 Nov 2004 23:11:09 GMT

If anyone is using the trunk of SVN, i.e. 0.7-dev
then be aware that the repository has been restructured... again.

The next time that you do 'svn update' it will be
automatically re-arranged. However, if you have
local changes (do 'svn status --no-ignore' to see)
then you would be advised to move them out of the way first.

The other option is to do a complete new svn checkout and
copy your changes over to that as needed.

Anyway, after you have updated then you need to reset
FORREST_HOME and PATH environment variables:

export FORREST_HOME=/usr/local/svn/forrest
................................^^^^^^^^^^^^

and do a 'build clean' and 'build'

This means that finally forrest behaves like other projects, where the
home dir is in the project root, and the bin dir is just under it.

PS: Thanks to David for the first version of this mail 8-)
