Hi Thorsten,

I added:
<extra-css>
#menu .menuitem {
         padding: 0px 0px 10px 12px;
         background-image: url('images/page.gif');
         background-repeat: no-repeat;
         background-position: center left;
         font-weight : normal;
         margin-left: 10px;
}

and set the screen.css back to the original value but my spacing 
disappeared. The extra-css doesn't seem to have an effect.
