Subject Re: beginner problem installing forrest on windows

Hi,

I am not a programer and I try to install forrest, but it does not work,
if someone could help it would be very appreciated!

When I try to build forrest from the source (in Windows), I type
C:\forrest\build.bat
I get the message :
'Using classpath: ""'
and something like 'the path can not be found'
I think I set the environment variable JAVA_HOME correctly
By the way is it JDK or JRE that we need to run cocoon?

If I double click on build.bat in my forrest source folder it doesn't
built forrest either.

When I try with the binary version I get the following error message
when I type 'forrest or 'forrest seed':

> Buildfile: C:\forrest\forrest.build.xml
>
> BUILD FAILED
> Basedir C:\forrst\ant\lib\" -Dproject.home C:" does
> not exist
>
> Total time: 0 seconds

Sorry to bother you, but I don't know what I have misunderstood or
whatever. A little help would be apprecitaed

Thomas
