Works well, passes ant test etc. Patch and tar worked fine -- for your information I was wrong in my earlier assumption that the last tarball was corrupt. I actually unzipped it using a windows zip program -- supposed to deal with .tar.gz but it was this program (powerarchiver) which truncated the filenames.
