Subject [jira] Commented: (FOR-972) Export Jira Issues as they are resolved/closed so they can be imported into status.xml

Thorsten Scherler commented on FOR-972:

I any form either via pull like I describe or via push like you suggest we need (common for
+ basic
++ transform from jira issue xml to action (project plugin has jira to xdocs)
+ advanced
++ listener that keeps the status.xml in sync with jira

The process cannot be 100% automatic in the given ASF infrastructure.

The forrestbot could be extended to do this BUT forrestbot needs to be rewritten as soon we
switch to cocoon-trunk (since there is no commandline). I reckon this is a real good use case
for Apache Droids but implementing it ATM (100% automatic) is a far amount of work (moving
and extending forrestbot to droids).

However the first step is a basic xsl stylesheet jira-xml-to-status which should not be hard
to implement. This would give as a c'n p master.
