And I can't stress enough: it should be clear to the students that
they are merely *ideas* ... starting off points. Students should be
encouraged to come up with their own ideas... to be creative. Without
that, there will be a lot of cut/paste of idea text, rather than
original thought.

In any case, the "process" is that students make proposals into a
web-based app running on code.google.com (opening May 1st). There is
no linkage to projects' ideas lists.
