Subject [jira] Resolved: (FOR-843) extend the dispatcher with meta data lookups (lenya meta data)
Date Sun, 02 Apr 2006 17:02:44 GMT

Thorsten Scherler resolved FOR-843:
-----------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed
     Assign To: Thorsten Scherler

current implementation looks for a file {xdocs}{request}.xml.meta and in there for
<lenya:resourceType>xhtml</lenya:resourceType>

> extend the dispatcher with meta data lookups (lenya meta data)
> --------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: FOR-843
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-843
> Project: Forrest
> Type: New Feature

> Components: Dispatcher (aka views)
> Reporter: Thorsten Scherler
> Assignee: Thorsten Scherler

>
> make dispatcher aware of lenya resource types.
> The sourcetype action of the dispatcher lm is nice but we need a different one
> for e.g. lenya/doco, since it keeps this information in a meta file.
> That means we need to extend the dispatcher with meta data lookups. That makes it
> possible to integrate different resource types (not only the xdocs based
> ones). Forrest will then be able to easiely bypass its internal format
> by looking up which structurer to use for the certain resource type.
