Sorry I clicked send accidentally a moment ago. Yes, I was thinking of having the app detect is site.xml, tabs.xml, skinconf.xml etc. have been changed since the last full site build and disable if they have, or at the very least warn in very large letters that the build may be inconsistent and a full rebuild should be done (complete with button to do one).
