Thorsten Scherler updated FOR-144:
----------------------------------

    Description:
We are attempting to define a new extensible skinconf format. Here is one thread where the
discussion is happening (there were some other threads leading up to that).

        Version: 0.8
                     (was: 0.6)
    Environment:
      Assign To: Thorsten Scherler
       Priority: Blocker (was: Major)

This issue has to be resolved right after the 0.7 release. The usage of skinconf in views
is a wee bit different as in old fashion skins.

Right now I am using only properties of the skinconf.xml but not any conditions. IMO conditions
have to go in the *.fv and not in skinconf.

An example for a condition is <disable-pdf>true</disable-pdf>. In views you will
use the <forrest:contract name="content-pdf-link"/> to activate the link. If you do
not use this tag the link is not activated. Trying to say that element is obsolete.
