The following issue has been updated:

Open Office 0-7-dev plugin, this changes the way style information is handled thus allowing
users to define their own styles in the application.

However, there are implications to this. It allows users to mix style and content which is
exactly what Forrest is trying to get away from. Nevertheless it must be recognised that some
users expect to be able to do this. This handling of styles is intended to be configurable,
that is we should be able to turn it off completely and only allow the predefined Forrest
styles, or we could turn off unrecognised styles (for exampe, underline or font) and convert
recognised ones (such as bold) to their Forrest equivalent, or we could allow free for all
styling in the document.

This will allow the end user to decide on how to use

This code will go into SVN once we have the new strucutre agreed upon and implemented. In
the meantime we can place updates here.

The attached files provide provide support for embedded images in Open Office documents and
for Open Office Impress documents.

They also provide the start of support for relvant style information, scuh as Bold, italic

However, these files were created against a fairly old version of Forrest and it is not a
simple case of committing the changes anymore. They need to be carefully merged with current

It is recomended that this be done as part of the excercise to create an Open Office plugin
so as to not to cause any disruption in trunk.
