Date Fri, 17 Sep 2004 04:20:16 GMT

    Updater: Rick Tessner (
       Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 11:20 PM
- src/core/targets/content.xml
Removed the copying of *.xmap files from the "copy-sitemap" target. All this target now
does is copy This target should probably be renamed to something more suitable.
And is the dependence of this target on "sitemap.present" necessary?
- src/core/targets/webapp.xml
Removed entire <copy> element which was copying all custom xmap files from the "webapp"

             Attachment changed to j295-46232.patch

Here is an overview of the issue:
        Key: FOR-295
Summary: project sitemap.xmap clobbers forrest sitemap with 'forrest war'
       Type: Bug

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

    Project: Forrest
             Building Forrest

   Reporter: Rick Tessner

    Created: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 10:11 PM
    Updated: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 11:20 PM

If a project sitemap.xmap is created in src/documentation/sitemap.xmap, this sitemap.xmap
is copied over the webapp/sitemap.xmap which in turn creates a non-functioning webapp.

To see this, do a "forrest seed" and create a minimal sitemap in src/documentation/sitemap.xmap.

Do a "forrest war" and either try to deploy it or simply check build/webapp/sitemap.xmap.
