Subject [issues] New comment: (FOR-132) Creating PDF out of muti-language documents

The last comment on this issue was that it should not block 0.6. I would like to see it implemented
as far as possible with the suggested Bitstream Vera fonts - they are not suitable for me,
but it is easy to extend an already existing font metrics file.

The point that there is a workaround is not really valid - as a user I find it quite hard
and error-prone (but not impossible) to work through the suggested steps. I would be much
more happy with a solution that worked for some languages/fonts, and that could easily be
extended. The present "solution" is kind of an i18n-blocker to the users...

When you transform a document with other characters than latin to PDF, in spite of the unicode(UTF-8)
of the original file all characters get broken and isn't readable. please, does anyone have
a simple solution for this?
