The workaround was posted to the mailing list, not here.  Can you try this and see if this
is suitable?  I don't know how openoffice marks the encoding of files.


Have you tried defining your xmls as "ISO-8859-2":
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-2"?> <!DOCTYPE
document PUBLIC "-//APACHE//DTD Documentation

Using ISO-8859-1 solved my problems with spanish, and
I believe ISO-8859-2 includes the Polish characters.

When you transform a document with other characters than latin to PDF, in spite of the unicode(UTF-8)
of the original file all characters get broken and isn't readable. please, does anyone have
a simple solution for this?
