I have got something in my laptop, but I am not 100% about it.

Say this:

Request: index.html
Content-Language-Request: es

on the page I can create a div with all the files ^index_*.html :

<div class="lang">
<a href="index_en.html" hreflang="en">english</a>
          ^^^^^^^^  Are we sure?
<a href="index_pl.html" hreflang="pl">Polish</a>
