It wouldn't do the tag and attribute lookup because it couldn't find the DTD. I saw the discussion about the doctype resolution in the xmap file. But that doesn't make it any easier to edit the XML files if your editor can't find the DTD. +1 for putting the DTDs up on the Forrest site.
