This:

http://xml.apache.org/forrest/your-project.html#integrating_rss

describes almost what you want to do, namely create an overridden
sitemap.xmap defining new pipelines for each additional RSS file.  If
you're generating RSS from some other format, status.xmap shows how to do
it.
