Subject Failing W3C MarkUp Validation
Date Mon, 20 Oct 2003 22:58:20 GMT
Hi, Folks,

I'm finding my pages are failing validation.

This is the sort of stuff I'm getting when I hit the "W3C HTML4.01"
validate link in the footer of www.pdh-online.com for instance:

Line 194, column 21: there is no attribute "XMLNS
  </td><td xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" nowrap="nowrap" width="40"
a
                       ^
  * Line 200, column 16: there is no attribute "XMLNS
  <ul xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="minitoc">
                  ^
  * Line 223, column 15: there is no attribute "XMLNS
  <a xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" name="N1000C"></a><a xmlns:xhtml="
                 ^
  * Line 224, column 16: there is no attribute "XMLNS
  <h3 xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Technical and Business Opportunit

Can somebody suggest how these xmlns:xhtml things might be getting in please?

Many thanks.
Peter
