This problem almost certainly arose out of a fix to the way Cocoon uses the JISP persistent
store. Previously, due to a 'close down' bug, cached pages weren't written to the persistent
store. This was fixed, but it has had some unexpected consequences.

It could be that your problem is caused by an incorrectly matched JISP or Excalibur store
library. Are you using the most up to date ones?
