Arnaud,

I do not know what the problem is yet, but possibly it is something to 
do with the url rewriting that was modified a few days ago.

There is a work around for this problem:
change
xlink:href="tiscali.jpg"
to
xlink:href="http://localhost:8888/images/tiscali.jpg"
