Subject link validation and linking to jars
Date Mon, 16 Jun 2003 15:49:39 GMT
Hello everybody,

Ii am experiencing some minor trouble generating my documentation with
forrest: My documentation relies on a shared directory in the corporates
LAN. When I am linking to external resources like jars or directories,
forrest adds ".html" to my links. Three examples:

<link
href="../dist/lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar">lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar</link>
<link href="../dist">ldistributions</link>
<link href="../dist/">ldistributions</link>

This produces in the first two cases links like <a
href="../lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar.html"> and <a href="../dist.html">.

In the third case forrest throws an exception. How can I handle this
linking to jars and directories?

Cheers,
Jan

P.S.: The Stack trace for the latter case is very long. I provide it if
anyone is intrested.
