Subject Backcopy improvements
Date Mon, 26 May 2003 12:41:47 GMT
Hi,

I've just committed an update to CVS Ant, and a rewritten 'backcopy'
target. Now, not only will edited files be backcopied, but newly
modified files are also backcopied.

For example, say I'm using the krysalis-site skin, and edit
build/webapp/skins/krysalis-site/xslt/html/site2xhtml.xsl. When I next
run 'forrest backcopy', the modified file will be copied to
src/documentation/skins/krysalis-site/xslt/html/

backcopy:
Copying 18 files to /home/jeff/apache/xml/xml-forrest/src/documentation

init-props:
Loading project specific properties from /home/jeff/apache/xml/xml-forrest/forrest.properties

echo-settings:

overrides:

      +----------------------------+
      | Forrest Overrides report |
      +----------------------------+

      Overridden, modified : skins/krysalis-site/xslt/html/site2xhtml.xsl
      Overridden, unmodified :

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 7 seconds

Another common example is editing build/webapp/*.xmap files, which are now
backcopied to src/documantation/

If this new behaviour causes problems, please let us know.
