In other news, and while I'm obviously not done, if people want to see a preview of a krysalis
CSS skin, go to http://forrest.iguanacharlie.com/krysalis.html
It's definitely pretty raw and I got sidetracked on other projects, but there's a working
base
- AND -
it uses the exact same markup structure as the Forrest example; No XSLT changes are necessary
other than the URL in a stylesheet link element.
One final note, there is nothing preventing serialization of the markup as HTML 4.01 strict
if people want it. The markup is the same and the HTML Cocoon serializer will handle the
minor differences.
Reason for wanting HTML 4.01 instead of XHTML 1.0: http://www.hixie.ch/advocacy/xhtml
Personally I can be a stubborn individual and refuse to give up on XHTML despite the client
limitations. Others may not see it the same way, so the compatibility with HTML 4.01 Strict
should be noted.

Description:
Miles Elam created a very nice, fast-loading XHTML mock-up
of the Forrest skin. It is currently viewable at:
http://http://forrest.iguanacharlie.com/
Announced in this email:
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=forrest-dev&m=103697793707925&w=2
Regardless of whether it gets used for xml.apache.org, we should offer this as one of the
standard Forrest skins.
