The funny thing about http/viewcvs entries in catalogs for older 
versions is that the current resolver library breaks when it isn't able 
to fetch a DTD across HTTP, e.g. when behind a proxy, even when you 
don't need that specific DTD. It apparently tries to load/locate all 
catalog entries upon initialization.
