Sorry for duplicating this comment. I couldn't see it in the issue 
report and thought I'd failed to submit it or something. It was only 
after I sent it again I realised I was looking in the wrong place 
(didn't notice the separate history and comment tabs on the issue page)

Oh well, I know my way around Jira better now.
