[~walterddr] the support for external catalogs is already there and the integration with the
new unified connector API is also done. Now we can implement a {{TableCatalogFactory}} that
extends {{TableFactory}} and returns an instance of {{ExternalCatalog}}. On the SQL Client
side we only need to register the discovered catalog then.
