Subject [jira] [Commented] (FLINK-4151) Address Travis CI build time: We are exceeding the 2 hours limit

Greg Hogan commented on FLINK-4151:

This change will get Travis back under two hours (and we could always split three-, four-,
five- ... ways later). It does exacerbate the problem of backlogged builds in the queue. Given
our 10 slots, if each of five tests takes two hours that limits us to 24 builds/day. By bumping
this to 10 tests we eventually limit ourselves to 12 builds/day.

The Travis API may allow us to terminate old builds from the same PR. For example, we currently
have three builds in the queue for this PR (#2201). We could also look again into running
parallel builds but that is probably only a small speedup since it looks like most integration
tests already run in parallel.
