Hi,

What version of the Flex SDK are you using? en_GB is a supported locate and you should get
dd/mm/yyyy

For example this code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
			   xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
			   xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
			   minWidth="955" minHeight="600">
	<mx:DateField id="mydate" selectedDate="{new Date(2016, 6, 4, 13)}"/>
</s:Application>

Will correctly display 4th July as "04/07/2016” when compiled with -locale en_GB.

Thanks,
Justin
