Well, I can see now a problem.  The Scout companion app can SEE my computer,
but won't actually connect to it.  A checkmark never appears next to my
computer name, just a constantly spinning dial.  I wonder if this means that
something else is using the port(7934), or if virus software or a firewall
is blocking access??

Still really stuck, any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated. 
Surprising to me how little information is available on how to use this
product.
