I'm running OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) and running Flash Builder 4.7.
I haven't noticed any problems.
What do you have the Xmx set to? It's in /Applications/Adobe Flash Builder
4.7/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7.ini
