Solved this one, by following these steps:
(using OSX and FB 4.7, but should work with other IDE's )

1) Install the LiveReload server:   http://livereload.com/

2) Set it to watch the bin-debug folder

3) Add this to the index.template.html file:

4) Run the project once

5) Set FB to compile automatically on save (it's actually the default

6) code and save - every time you save, the swf will recompile, and the page
will reload.

Note: this won't be of use when launching a Debug version.
Not sure if that's possible, perhaps if I attach to a remote version?
