Subject [jira] [Commented] (FLEX-35070) "for each" not working in XMLList
Date Mon, 11 Apr 2016 16:32:26 GMT

Harbs commented on FLEX-35070:
------------------------------

Bingo.

This works:
			var xmlList:XMLList = list;
			for each(item in xmlList)
				appendChild(item);

Neither type of casting works though. Is that hard to fix?

FWIW, I think I'm just going to stick with a regular while loop for concat(), but this is
important for client code.

> I don't have a full test case right now, but I believe the following will fail.
> var newList:XMLList = new XMLList();
> newList.appendChild(<foo/>);
> var xmlItem:XML;
> for each(xmlItem in oldList)
>   newList.appendChild(xmlItem);
> If necessary, I can put together a (non)working test case.
