Tim John commented on FLEX-33926:
---------------------------------
Hey guys, I was able to get access to the VideoSurface object by subclassing the VideoDisplay
class, like so:
{code:ActionScript}
use namespace mx_internal;
public class PatchedVideoDisplay extends VideoDisplay
{
public function get videoSurfaceObject():VideoSurface
{
return videoPlayer.displayObject as VideoSurface;
}
}
{code}
In my case I was looking to enable the smoothing property on the VideoSurface object.
> Null error in videoDisplay.videoObject while using VideoDisplay
