OmPrakash Muppirala commented on FLEX-33166:
--------------------------------------------

Tested the given example app with Flex 4.11(3.9/11.9) It looked pretty bad with the text
staying in place while scrolling.

Got the nightly 4.12.0 build and pretty much all the scenarios mentioned above seem to be
working fine.

Once or twice, because of the easing effect of the softkeyboard showing up, the text seems
to go out of place, but it always comes back to the correct location. Much better than before
in any case.

The text selection does not get preserved for me. This seems to be the expected behavior
in Android. I tried the Gmail app and the built in Calendar app, both have this behavior
(selection not preserved)

Tested on Samsung Galaxy SIII (Android 4.1.2) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (Android 4.2.2)

Thanks for fixing this. Looks much better now!

> We should be able to configure a text field which only accepts numerical input to call
up the numeric pad. However, the skinclasses for the textfield that can call up the number
pad will not scroll--If you try to use the skinclass that can call the softkey number pad
in a scrollable container, the textfield scrolls away from its text.
