Re (1) I agree about not worrying for those cases, unless someone actually come up with an
issue.
Re (2) Ok on keeping the code around.

I'll try to refine the patch to avoid that additional loop and revert the previous unselected
backward tab case, as soon as I can put some time on it (hope it could be picked up in the
next 4.11 release).
