Right now I have many things in mind, so really don't know if I'll do MDC

As we commented some weeks ago, Google decided to stop MDL in current
version. We can only expect some work on bug fixing and maintenance
releases.

I gave a quick look at the date picker code posted and the live example is
given some browser errors that seems not related to the main code of the
component.
some BootStrap code is there, but hopefully only for additional purposes.
So, If as the read me announces is completely stand alone and well
developed, and MIT license
used is not a problem for us, I think the integration would be as other
official MDL components
