Are the resources already split up in a way that this can happen ... I remember them being
in a pretty mixed up tangle ...

IIRC, this has been discussed in the past and most folks want option 1.
It isn’t near the top of my priority list right now though, but if you want to make it happen,
I’d be totally in support.
