In this case you should have a look at the Nashorn Project. It's a JavaScript engine running
natively inside the Java VM and hereby on the Server:

What about compiling AS3 to JS using FalconJx and running the result in
Node.js?
All you'd need are some ActionScript "stub" APIs of the corresponding
Node.js modules...
