There are probably lots of bad assumptions in the tests.  I think these tes=
ts were only run in the US and India.  I changed a few tests already to do =
a low-level query of the FlashPlayer globalization and Capabilities APIs an=
d store the result in a variable as the correct answer.  The point of most =
of these tests is to make sure Flex doesn't mess with the FlashPlayer's und=
erlying implementations so the answer doesn't have to be hard-coded in the =
scripts.  You should be able to find some of those changes in the SVN histo=
