Subject RE: Flex 5 in haxe

I am not sure that's true...personally (and I would place myself in the
minority), I won't look at other languages/platforms if Flex goes the
direction I want to go (pretty much right where it is now, only future
proof). I like actionScript and I like Flex. I am on my way to being
proficient. I am not eager to jump ship.

I watched Mike Labriola's 360Min presentation on how he is developing apps
for HTML. Even something like that, using ActionScript instead of C# would
be better than a complete switch for me.

It is similar to the same risk Microsoft took with Windows 8...if I have to
learn a new OS, maybe I should just take the plunge and get an Apple.

To be blunt, if Flex doesn't measure up against those other frameworks, it
has no future - regardless of the language it's built on.
