Port the Flex framework to AS4 and the new runtime. 2. Compile MXML either to AS4 (and then compile it with the new Adobe compi= ler) or, preferably, compile MXML directly to the new bytecode for the new = runtime. - Gordon -----Original Message----- From: Clint Modien [mailto:clint@vectorscape.com]=20 Sent: Thursday, October 18, 2012 3:30 PM To: flex-dev@incubator.apache.org Subject: Re: ASC 2.0 and Falcon It wasn't... but thanks for the response... :) Also after running a search I remembered someone (Jonathan Campos, and Nick= Kwiatkowski) did some work to port Flex to starling... based on their init= ial investigation it seemed possible. Question for Adobe... how would we compile it for as4? Architecturally, would it make more sense to separate the compilers two dif= ferent jobs? Have mxmlc just generate AS3/4 and then invoke the appropriate adobe compil= er on the generated ActionScript? On Oct 18, 2012, at 2:29 PM, Gordon Smith wrote: > Is that a question?
