I think it would be a great idea to include a method along with these alrea=
dy included methods:

=E2=80=A2File.applicationStorageDirectory=E2=80=94a storage directory uniqu=
e to each installed AIR application (User Specific)
=E2=80=A2File.applicationDirectory=E2=80=94the read-only directory where th=
e application is installed (along with any installed assets)
=E2=80=A2File.desktopDirectory=E2=80=94the user's desktop directory
=E2=80=A2File.documentsDirectory=E2=80=94the user's documents directory
=E2=80=A2File.userDirectory=E2=80=94the user directory

All these point to directory directly related to user except for applicatio=
nDirectory which is read only=20

=E2=80=A2File.applicationPublicDirectory - would point to a common storage =
location regardless of the user logged in
Such As
C:\programdata\MyApp  or \Library\Application Support\MyApp
