Subject I give up (was [VOTE] Release InstallApacheFlex 1.0 - RC6)
Date Fri, 12 Oct 2012 06:52:25 GMT

These things (an extra 'The', really?) should not hold up a release
indefinitely. It's like the project doesn't want to release this. Or,
if it's so important to the project that having a capitalised "The" in
the documents will ruin the project's reputation, why aren't more
people contributing so Om and I can rely on the extra eyeballs BEFORE
we cut an RC? I've stood by and contributed through 6 (!) release
candidates, but my patience has run out. Working on the minutiae of
text based changes in supporting files and the work associated with
creating reliable release candidates has prevented me from doing
meaningful contributions to Mustella, the website and the next version
of the Installer. This is a waste of my time.

I'll be putting in my time on the website, and maybe after the
Installers release (ha!) I'll start work on it again, but for now I
give up.

Take care,
