Some of this is repeat.

I downloaded the source kit and read the README.  The README looks like it
is a Release Guide not a README.  I expected to see a brief description of
what the source was for and instructions for how to build it.

I have an AIR_HOME environment variable.

I ran

ant -DFLEX_HOME=/Users/cframpto/dev/4.8.0

and the compile target barfed.  It is looking for something in the common
directory which of course doesn't exist.
