This is a great. We do need a credit bureau integration in= Myanmar. However, the regulations on credit reporting were just issued on = 31st March of this year and it only contains high-level requirements. No cr= edit bureau has started their operations yet but we will share the specific= integration options and technologies for data access by credit reporting a= gencies once they are known. Could this be a two-way integration: (1) to submit credit data of borrowers= to the credit bureaus; and (2) to perform credit check for new application= s?Nikhil- As of now it is one way integration but we are going to make it t= wo way communication in current phase. Some high-level considerations that we would like to request in designing t= he integration include: 1. Ability to pull real-time data from multiple credit bureaus via API (wil= l they be displayed separately or will they be merged somehow?)Nikhil- As p= er the current design, we have mapped loan to credit bureau product with 1-= 1 relationship. i.e you can map different loans to different credit bureaus= but you cannot map single loan to different credit bureaus.=C2=A0 We can d= iscuss this requirement further. 2. Ability to post requests via HTTPS with 128-bit SSL encryption.Nikhil -T= he communication is already on HTTPS but I am not encrypting it.If this is = compliance issue we will secure the communication as well as per required s= tandard. 3. Ability to retrieve data in XML format.Nikhil -Yes, data is being retrie= ved in XML and we are parsing it to fetch fields of interest. 4. Ability to check the credit score in Mifos without storing credit data (= no external credit histories of clients on Mifos)Nikhil-Currently we are no= t storing data being fetched, we were thing to cache entire credit report. = To be on safer side=C2=A0we will make this also configurable, so that users= can decide what to store from the report. 5. Ability to configure access to credit bureau integration module to ensur= e that only approved users can access credit score.Nikhil- The credit score= can be viewed in viewloanaccount summary along with different tabs, credit= check tab is enabled. So the user who has access to view loan account detai= ls, will also have ability to to view credit score.=C2=A0 Seems like some of this is already in place. To summarize the current status: 1) The address module which was the prerequisite for the project has been i= ntegrated and merged. 2) The Equifax India's sand box environment has been integrated as a standa= lone client in Fineract. As Credit check is optional module, Once you enable the credit check and if= client has applied for loan, user would be able to do a credit check for t= hat client. However, it is not configurable as of now, the repository detai= ls have been hard coded. 3) With the aim of making the credit bureau more flexible, Credit bureau co= nfiguration module was created wherein, the user would be able to store all= the required configuration for credit bureau, it has been completed and th= e PR has been sent for review. Tasks scheduled for next two weeks before the coding period begins : 1) The current design is inflexible, so the first target is to come up with= the generic design of the credit bureau module. 2) Connect the stand alone client with the configuration module which will = make the client configurable.
