Hi Ippez,

Summarizing details :-


   - Template was already existing in client's machine and seemed tampered
   with or was a version which I have never seen. Ex:- Interval dropdown was
   not displaying any values, error message column had some data validation on
   it enforcing it to be a dropdown. Once the fresh group template was
   downloaded, there weren't any issues.
   - In the loan template, payment type used to be a set of code values and
   used to have a default value of Cash in the dropdown. The new payment type
   configuration does not have a default value in the system. So we had to
   create it and re-download the template.
   - Then the template did not support providing a decimal rate of
   interest, so some of the amount entered as total repaid amount probably
   went into overpaid for closed loans and settled part of next instalment for
   running loans. This is an open bug in the tool from a long time.

Other than that, an EMI calculator excel was shared so that he can tweak
with the product parameters in the excel sheet itself and find the closest
match to his schedule and then configure the product accordingly.
